Arms crossed, we await Alien Isolation

January 22nd, 2014

I am cautiously optimistic about next game to wave the banner for the Aliens’s franchise. Every player is hoping that when they sit down with a new game that the graphics, music, and story are good enough to pull you into a complete submersion of that world. You want to look up at the clock and suddenly realize that you’ve played through the night and have to be at work in less than four hours. Check out this video to see some of the released gameplay.

Creative Assembly understands the importance of immersion, and how it relates to a rich gaming experience. Watch the video to see how the developers have kept this in mind and portray it good fashion.

After watching both videos I am very eager to see what the final product will be. I’ve been waiting my entire life for a game like this, and to understand why you should check out Remembering Aliens. There you will find a brief history and timeline of the games that came before this one that have mostly failed where Creative Assembly hopefully has not. My only disappointment is that I have to wait until late this year, my guess would be November. Good things come to those who wait, and I’ve been waiting a very long time.
